Do you have a specialism?
I am a generalist and welcome all issues. My client work has included:

Do you see couples?
No – at the moment I am only accepting individual clients.
How much does a session cost?
I offer an initial 15-minute online meeting or telephone call for free. Subsequent sessions are £60 each.
Where would the sessions take place?
We can meet in person in my rooms in xxxxx or online. The calendar shows my availability for both options.
How long is a session?
Standard session length is 50 minutes.
How many therapy sessions will I need?
That depends on many factors. A typical engagement might be 10–15 weeks. We'll decide together after 3–4 sessions.
Will we meet online vs in person?
Both options are available. Many clients blend in-person and online. I’m flexible based on your needs and location.
How often will we meet?
We’ll meet once a week. This gives you time to reflect and maintain therapeutic momentum.
How do I book?
Please choose a slot from the online calendar or email me. Appointments must be booked a week in advance.
How do I pay?
After booking, I’ll send you a payment link. Online payment is due before each session.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes – book 4 sessions together and save £20. No student/unemployed discounts currently.
What happens if I become a client?
Initial 15-minute call to assess fit.
Paperwork including counselling agreement.
First session – explore your reasons and goals.
Regular meetings with periodic reviews.
Closure when you feel ready and have made progress.
Can we meet online?
Yes. Video therapy is effective, though in-person work can be more dynamic. Hybrid options available.
Are you insured?
Yes – I have full professional liability cover.
What is your cancellation policy?
48 hours notice required. Missed or late cancellations are still chargeable. I’ll notify you promptly if I must cancel.
Is my information confidential?
Yes, in line with BACP ethics. Limited exceptions apply for legal duty. Anonymised supervision is used. Records are secure and GDPR-compliant.
Can you help me if I have an acute mental health crisis?
I am not an emergency service. Contact your GP or NHS 111. If in danger, call 999 or go to A&E. We can also create a safety plan.
